Overview
Prox is a Bluetooth-based focus and app-blocking service for iPhone. Bluetooth signal strength, motion activity, and Screen Time selections are processed on your device. When you sign in, Prox also uses cloud services for account access, data sync, and purchase verification. This policy explains what Prox collects and how that information is used.
Information we collect
- Account information, including your account ID, email address, name, profile photo, and linked sign-in providers.
- Cloud-synced preferences, including focus goals, appearance choices, protection settings, and enabled app features.
- Custom modes, including their names, icons, category rules, strictness settings, and optional background images.
- Focus-session records, including start and end times, the trigger-device name, mode type, and how a session ended.
- Achievement identifiers and the dates on which achievements were earned.
- Purchase and entitlement information needed to provide, verify, and restore Pro features.
Authentication providers and service vendors may process technical information such as device identifiers, approximate location derived from network information, and service-usage data under their own privacy policies.
Information processed on your iPhone
- Bluetooth signal strength and connection state for devices you register. Prox does not use GPS location.
- Motion activity, such as whether the phone is stationary or moving, to reduce false triggers.
- Screen Time selections represented by Apple as opaque tokens. Prox cannot read the names of the apps represented by those tokens.
- Registered Bluetooth identifiers, calibration values, device priority, and trigger settings.
These items are used for Prox's core blocking behavior and are not uploaded as raw Bluetooth, motion, GPS, or Screen Time data. A focus-session record may include the name you assigned to a trigger device.
How we use information
- To create and secure your account and support Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In.
- To sync your profile, preferences, custom modes, focus history, and achievements across your devices.
- To provide focus statistics and restore your settings after you sign in again.
- To verify purchases, manage Pro access, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and provide support.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of Prox.
Prox does not sell personal information and does not use it for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.

Data retention and deletion
Cloud account data is retained while your Prox account remains active. You can delete your account from Prox in Settings, under your account controls. Account deletion removes the cloud profile and synced user data associated with the account. You can also contact hello@ninooonin.com for help with a privacy or deletion request.
Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage subscriptions through your Apple account. Apple and RevenueCat may retain transaction or entitlement records when required for accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or purchase restoration.
Website data
The Prox website does not use advertising cookies. It may store a theme preference in your browser. Hosting providers may process basic request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the website.
Children
Prox is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Use the in-app account controls or contact hello@ninooonin.com . We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
International processing and security
Our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Prox uses access controls, encrypted network connections, and provider security features to protect cloud data. No storage or transmission system can guarantee absolute security.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Prox changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required by law.
